How do I grow this? Many organizations can help you find information on orchids. For beginning growers the American Orchid Society website is a good place to start, and membership in the AOS has many benefits for orchid growers.

The AOS promotes appreciation, cultivation, and conservation of all orchids through its monthly color magazine Orchids. The AOS has semi-annual meetings and shows with regional and local affiliated orchid societies and organizations.

ORCHID DIGEST CORPORATION (ODC)

The ODC has similar aims as the AOS. The ODC focuses on orchid species, their taxonomy, cultivation and conservation. www.orchiddigest.org

MID AMERICA ORCHID CONGRESS (MAOC)

Regional organization of many local orchid societies which sponsors biannual meetings and orchid shows held at various sites, and hosted by  a local orchid society.
